Did you know, Blackburn Karate Club (BKC) is a proud member of the Australian Karate Federation (AKF), which is the only government- and Australian Olympic Committee-recognized Karate body in Australia.
Sensei Richard, 7th Dan, Chief Instructor of BKC and Senior Victorian Coach, has been associated with the AKF for over 35 years, having been involved in both competition and coaching at the highest level.
The AKF conducts routine inspections on all member dojos as well as its instructors to ensure that the tuition and organisation standard meets its strict membership criteria.
