Dojo Etiquette
- On entering and leaving the training area, always bow.
- Always refer to your instructors as Sensei
- Respect is of prime importance. Respect for your instructors, your fellow students and yourself.
- Always bow as a sign of respect before and after training with a partner.
- Be on time for training.
- Any person who is late for training will perform a full bow and wait for the Sensei acknowledgment.
- You must gain permission from the Sensei if you wish to leave the training area early
- Be attentive. Never lean against walls or sprawl about the floor
- Keep hands off the mirrors and walls
- Unnecessary roughness, crude language or disrespect will not be tolerated
- Students should keep their bodies and karate suit clean.
- No watches or jewelery are permitted to be worn during training
- Fingernails must be kept short.
- Always try your best.
